Post subject:  samson XM910

Anyone have one of these; if so what speaker wattage do you recomend; I would like to go with mains and monitors; 15 mains and maybe 12 monitors; 8 ohm.
I'm thanking about 200 watts is in the right area.
 The mixer is rated at 450 x 2 at 4 ohms; thanks for any input.

Well since they don't even LIST an 8 ohm rating in their manual, 225-250 watts is probably about right.  Matching the speaker to it you'll want the speakers 'program' power rating (not RMS or PEAK, should look similar 100/200/400 RMS/Program/Peak) to equal about 225-250 watts at 8 ohms.
