One of my signature songs is this time you gave me a mountain.. An old friend (BRO) that I have known for years. We were the first in this area to go digital. As a tech I put together 2 of his systems. He had one bar for 5 years fri-sun. I still love him.
A couple of years ago he left Nancy for another gal. Then he became very distant even with his brother. Our relationship dissolved in weeks. I still talk to nancy who has his old system.
They both do shows at a bar which is building a place which will sit 4-500. My host which does contract work and has been idle for the winter is helping him. My former friend has since traded his JBL eons for 12" bereingers The rumor all over town his system sucks.
Here is the gist We are in for $200/night. I cant do sat because of a current obligation.
I look at it this way I put money back into my system. If he cant compete then to hell with it. YOU GAVE ME A MOUNTAIN THIIIS TIME!!!
