Anyone play this karaoke game? I like to find out more about it from anyone that have used it. http://www.harmonixmusic.com/krparty.html here is a short description of the game: Quote: Take center stage with Karaoke Revolution! Turning the
PlayStation 2 into the ultimate karaoke party machine, Karaoke Revolution is the only interactive karaoke game to score gamers on pitch and rhythm with a virtual audience reacting in real time to their performance. Karaoke Revolution features a dynamic in-game audience that reacts in real-time to each note sung, resulting in a wild crowd backed by an explosive light show for a great performance or disappointed spectators walking away from the stage when the performance is weak. Designed for amateur singers of all ages and all levels of musical abilities, Karaoke Revolution brings the only interactive karaoke experience into the gamer's living room. With more than 30 hit licensed songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today, gamers will have a chance to sing their way from small clubs to the ultimate concert venue when performing in "Showtime mode." For those pop stars that can't part with the mic, sing all night long in "Arcade mode" or "Karaoke mode." Features: * Beautiful 3D environments make this the most interactive and entertaining karaoke product ever created. * Sing along to licensed hits and well known classics and be judged on your performance. * Give your best audience performance or suffer humiliation with crowds that react to your skills in real-time. * Become the next pop star as you work your way up from singing on the streets to the ultimate concert venue. * Special technology rates the pitch and rhythm of your vocals. |

I have not seen it, but I keep running into people who have and are talking about it. The only thing I might add, I this maybe incorrect is that the machine rates the singer! |

Yes, the machine do rate the singer. I was wandering if this system can be adopted for pro use. That is why I post the question. But it seem no one here have the experience using it. |

There have been players with that feature for several years. It was called vocal scoring. It would be ok for fun but i would never use it at a show. Wouldn't want to insult or embarass anyone. That would make it a singing contest. |

I am aware of a player that give score, but this is more than that; its a game where karaoke is involved. |

My son has one with bongos, where the music plays and you have to hit the bongos at the precise time indicated by the markings on the screen. I've tried it, and it's harder than it looks! |

We bought my daughter alot of the KR games. They were expensive seein as a few of them are OOP now but well worth it. Shes real shy & having these games helped her come out of her shell to do real karaoke as KR helps you keep the melody of songs & shes had friends over that they play for hours with it. Well thats until DDR came into the picture ! Havent gotten Guitar Hero yet ...Anyways as far as the game itself its kool I mean as long as you have the melodies & rythym of the lyrics you dont even have to say the correct word you could say a completly different word as long as its the right tone & still get a good score. If I were you Id buy a used one on Ebay before Id pay for new & to make sure Id like it. My kids do but I still like real karaoke to play with. I dunno if youve tried American Idol PS2 games but its kinda like that too. Hope this helped. |

Yes, I've experienced this on new years eve, a friend brought this game but it wasn't from Playstation it's from the other company... I tell you, this is joke, the sound quality was so bad, no way can anyone sound good with this! In fact, I started fooling pretending I couldn't sing and of course I really got a bad score If I really sounded like that, no way would I be sharing any of my songs |
