I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4, but the mic input on the card died on me. The grommet for the mic input had broken off awhile ago and, fortunately, I was able to fix with super glue getting it to work again for quite awhile. The input for recording stopped working today. I would like to purchase another sound card for under $100 (it has to work with a sample rate of 44100..I don't want to go through the trouble of converting all my tracks to another sample rate). I noticed that a lot of these less expensive sound cards are no longer unavailable. Does anyone know of a good sound card product that is comparable to what I have now? It doesn't have to be a Creative product. I have a desktop PC.

hey hon I have a m-audio fasttrack the only drawback I have is it only records on one chanel so I have to copy n paste to the right channel from left but aside from that its clean as a whistle and easy to use plus you can plug a guitar or keyboard in also
