I have a newly purchased MICROBOARDS QD-52 Duplicater and i have been sucessfully copying cdg discs from many different companies but the machine will not copy Sunfly custom discs or Soundchoice custom discs that I purchased from a specific company MyCDG.COM. I can copy custom discs made from Soundchoice .com though. I was wondering if anybody here had this problem with these discs or do they use some kind of protection so you can't copy them. The machine doesn't show any errors it just doesn't work with these particular discs.

The custom discs you mention are actually made by a company called Essential Karaoke.  They put copywrite protection on the first track.  I have a QuicDisc duplicator as well. Mine only duplicates whole discs, and can't can't  choose tracks. If yours can, then duplicate one track at a time, EXCLUDING the 00, or first track. If it can't, you'll have to use a PC and software.

For those about to get their hackles up, it's perfectly legal to make a backup disc, as long as it's for SINGLE SITE USE
