Anybody see AI tonight.... I just watched it and I freeeeeeakin' LOOOVE Jason Cook's version of Billy Jean! At first I was like "huh? This isn't Billy Jean" then I realized it WAS!! His arrangement was just awesome. I would love to know what Michael Jackson thought of that! Thank God the judges gave him good comments, cuz I was hoping they would... I know there's no way in hell I'd be able to come up with an arrangement like that. Anyone else love it as much as i did? |

It just ended here, and YES! I loved his performance. I almost didn't recognize the song at first. Very well done... he is by far the most original performer. |

Amen sister! :oh yeah: I still really like Carly, but the judges didn't have a whole lot of positive thingsto say about her "Total Eclipse of the Heart" rendition. oh well... i think she'll stay. (i hope) |

I really liked Brook White's performance too. She sang 'I'll Be Watching You' on the piano. I really thought she did a great job. The judges weren't crazy about it either. I really like that Michael Johns too! So many talented performers this year. |

David Cook will not win it this year although he shoulD BUT he will go on just like Daughtry did and show that a true Idol is the most talented person not the most popular...Dave cook ,I believe, is even more talented than Daughtry..he belongs on a CD cover , not a television show... |

i dont think he did that arrangement cause seacrest said it was Chis Cornells version of Billie Jean (from SoundGarden)..i never heard of it though before... |

David Cook is one of my favorites! I agree that he is better than Daughtry, I like the tone of David's voice better, too. He's CUTE and sexy, too! I wish I was 30 years younger, Oh my gosh! He's only a few years older than my son, so I guess I shouldn't be thinking that way.

dont want to spoil the results for the west coast people but i was surprised at the bottom three, but then i thought there isnt 3 left that are bad enough to go home..every week from here on out is gonna be a big dissapointment...all that are left are as good as any top 3 from any season... |

I don't usually care for remakes of songs, but I loved his version of Billy Jean. That was pretty awesome. |

Did the AI guy claim to have made up his own version? If so, that's tacky. If not, no harm done I guess. He certainly has the right voice to fit that version well. |

No, David didn't claim that he did the arrangement. They said it was by Chris Cornell, I just so happened to miss them saying that. They did mention tonight that Chris had called the show and said he loved what David did with the song. |

yeah I'm sure it is rigged to some extent (or completely) but it's still entertaining to watch people sing and hope the one you liike best "wins" |
