I have two versions of I've Been Everywhere by Hank Snow. One version (CMC Karaoke) leaves off the first verse, but has most of the place names correct. The other (Chartbuster Essentials 2) has the place names all wrong, but does have the first verse. Does anyone know where I can get a complete and correct version |

I don't know if it's the correct version but the BMB/Nikkodo SAVC02 or SAVA15 version. My Dad said it's his personal favorite version over the Sound Choice version he had. |

The SAVA Hank Snow version, which I have, has four verses. As best as I can tell, all four are right on the money. Also remember that both Johnny Cash and Lynn Anderson had covers. As a bit of trivia, the song was original written in Australia and noted towns more central to the Australian experience. |

Quote: the song was original written in Australia and noted towns more central to the Australian experience. Thanks for that piece of trivia, I had no idea. Maybe that is why all the towns on the one version sound wrong to me, I am used to the Americanized version, and recognize most of the towns. Too bad there isn't some way to change the graphics, as I do like the sound track on the Chartbuster Disc. I will check out the discs mentioned, and thanks to both of you. :hi5:

I think you may want to listen to Monster Hits MH1036. Might be what you need. The SAV/Nikkodo, may be accurate, but is not noted for music quality. |

the SAVA (country) lines were just fine on music quality. It's the Monster Hits line that suffered GREATLY on music quality. I've listened to just about everything htey put out, and I only bought two of their discs! |
