:oh yeah: My daughter just called to let me know that her and her husband are getting a new van, the dealership doesn’t want the old one, so they are going to give it to me to settle a loan of around $300.  It has some minor transmission problems, but maybe I can find someone to take a look at it. I presently drive a 95 Pontiac Grand Am and have been wondering how I am going to haul this equipment in it.  With this van I shouldn’t have any problem getting my equipment into it with room to spare. I guess I must have done something right when I raised all these kids. :dancin:

I hate it for ya'll who have to haul your stuff around.  I guess it isn't too bad if you are doing parties and getting paid the bux.  Both clubs I have worked in over the last few years were set up so I could leave my gear set up and just take my laptop and hard drive with me.   That is a LOT of work for $125 or so a night.  Now I had no problems doing it for private parties when I made $500 for 3 or 4 hours.   :hi5:

We do six nights a week at three different place with four set ups and tear downs.  With two of us it's a 20 minute venture from the time the van stops to when we're ready to play.  Not a big deal at all, it's all roll in/roll out with the dollys.
