Post subject:  song title

I am trying to locate the title and artist (group) who did a song in the late sixties. Typical hippie type song. Good guitar riffs for the day. It has a verse or phrase init that goes something like "The rainbow has a moustache" and another line says " such good responses". Any help? I tried the lyric sites to no avail. I've never heard this one in karaoke, so I doubt it exists there. Just looking for the song. If I recall, the title was the  first letters of the song title because it was long. Done like this...A. B. C. D.

That would be from Cream - songtitle SWLABR of the Disraeli Gears album.  It was short for She Was Like A Bearded Rainbow.  Not available on karaoke through any manu i've looked at either here nor overseas.

Swlabr

by Jack Bruce and Pete Brown

Coming to me in the morning, leaving me at night.
Coming to me in the morning, leaving me alone.
You've got that rainbow feel but the rainbow has a beard.

Running to me a-cryin' when he throws you out.
Running to me a-cryin', on your own again.
You've got that pure feel, such good responses,
But the picture has a mustache.

You're coming to me with that soulful look on your face,
Coming looking like you've never ever done one wrong thing.

You're coming to me with that soulful look on your face.
You're coming looking like you've never ever done one wrong thing.

So many fantastic colors; I feel in a wonderland.
Many fantastic colors makes me feel so good.
You've got that pure feel, such good responses.
You've got that rainbow feel but the rainbow has a beard

Ah no wonder I didn't see it, Music Book Deluxe lists it under Eric Clapton & spelled wrong as Swalber.

well, I've seen a LOT of songs by Creme that were listed by Clapton, and vice-versa. SOME folks don't even KNOW that Clapton was a major part of that band...

I see the same thing with Phil Collins and Genesis, Journey and Steve Perry, etc...

But I totally agree... the song wasn't even titled right!

That song gets serious airplay on a local station here near the poconos, I mean DAILY, nice call loman.

So you found  a misprint on a karaoke disc, or wrong artist, no kidding, I can give you hundreds, lol.  The companies that create these discs usually don't even get the proper key, that's karaoke.

And by the way Clapton WAS Cream (imo) and Clapton is GOD, lol (an old saying)
