I had a request for "Boys Of Summer" last week and didn't have it. I'm trying to decide whether to download just that track or buy a disc. There are no SC or CB Don Henley CDGs, so my choice would be Legends I guess. It has "Dirty Laundry" and "Heart Of The Matter" too, which I also don't have and I think might have a shot of being sung sometime.
Now...without making a blanket statement about Legends discs in general does anyone have this particular one LEG125 and what do you think? (I've found some Legends tracks to be perfectly acceptable, although certainly not all of them.)
Also, you KJs, what Don Henley songs get sung more than once in a blue moon?
I do have "Leather And Lace".... so you don't need to mention that one...
Thanks-

New York Minute
Dirty Laundry
All She Wants To Do Is Dance
Boys Of Summer
Now these are still once in a blue moon songs, but get done i'd say like once a month you'll hear at least one or two of these.

If you don't have them, they can't be sung. It may take a while for the right singer to realize you have them. I don't hear many.

Henley's ZOOM is the best. Most males have a hard time singing Henley - a little high range-wise for them. 3 songs sung pretty regularly. Another Day in Paradise, Dirty Laundry, New York Minute. Great music tracks on the Zoom.

I have the Legends disc you're talking about... and the Zoom. BOTH are of a similar quality. now many of the Zoom tracks are better than the Legends ones, but none of the ones you mentioned specifically!

Thanks everyone. My mind was made up but after reading what knightshow said now I don't know. All I know is that I have to decide before noon if I expect to get it by Thurs.
The most important item in this order isn't Don Henley but Gorilla Zoe - Hood Figga available only on a monthly... (and I know... my room's a little... uuh... different).

Here is an armchair karaoke guess for what it's worth ($0.00). I'm thinking Legends might not be bad for a song like Dirty Laundry which as I think I recall has alot of synthesizer in it already.

My favorite song of his is "New York Minute". I've sung that, but I don't remember what manu it's from. It was hard to sing it without tearing up! (A little tearing up is ok, but I totally lost it during an Evanescence song I was singing once and I had to stop singing for a few bars!)
