Hi everyone,
I joined this wonderful site last week and am just now introducing myself.
I dont know how much I am supposed to say here,so excuse me if it is too long ,or too short.
I live in so.Md.,and work for the Washington transit authority as a machinist.I am a 52 year old male ,that has never sang in my life ,and am somewhat computer challenged.I dont know how I got elected for this endeaver......lol.
What I mean to say is that at our local private bar/hangout ,we purchased a pa system for the local musicians to use ,but before long many of us found it to be a lot of fun to try and sing a song or two.Logically the next idea was to try and put a karaoke system together ,for which I got elected.I have been reading the posts for several weeks now ,and am getting a feel for what it will take.I didnt know what a CDG was 2 weeks ago,but I am impessed with the amount of info on this site.I have my share of questions which I will post in the tech section soon ,which I will welcome any advice.There are also questions that I have concerning my eagerness to learn how to sing which I will ask in the right forum. :dancin:
