Im doing great since this whole weight loss thing started 11 months ago I have lost 62 lbs I have progress pics on my myspace  http://www.myspace.com/karaokekelley... I really couldnt tell all that much till I seen the pics Im loving life now except for the fact I have to eat ALOT I mean ALOT of chicken...my new tummy only likes chicken & tuna red meat doesnt agree too well yet doesnt stop me from trying to eat it though & then I feel sick for hours & vow never to eat it again until the next time  Im going shopping in my own closet for the smaller clothes... Weird thing is I actually sat in the middle of my bed & cried the other day because all my clothes are too big ...I used to cry because they were too small BTW for anyone who doesnt know yet I had gastric bypass otherwise known as stomach stapeling on Jan 8th. Im not malnourished Im seeing my Dr regularly & Im ok Just some FAQ I usually get from people answered in advance..

My youngest daughter had that surgery March 10th this year.  She is doing very well, has went from 250lbs her pre-surgery weight down to 200.2lbs. She is really looking forward to breaking that 200 mark.  She used to wear size 22/24 and is down to 18’s.   She has been real good about sticking to the prescribed diet, except for eating a hard boiled egg at Easter, that didn’t work very well. I’m sure you know what followed.  

Best of luck to you, I hope you continue to do well.  

Not sure what I am going to do with all this skinny woman competition though, an old broad like me isn't going to have a chance!…..

Wow ! Thats great ! For just having it in March shes doing very well losing...I am a slow loser b/c I have physical stuff going on that keeps me from excersising like a normal person does..alot of rods,pins & screws in the lower half of my body from a car crash in '02. But as long as its coming off I dont mind how slow it is ! Yeah I know about all the stuff that goes along with eating something that the tummy doesnt like, its not fun ! Tell her good luck & way to go from me

kelley - Love the pics. I have 2 girls - one 18 and one 21 this year. The old cliche "They grow up to fast" is true. My oldest doesn't graduate until May 24. It looks like in your neck of the woods they have graduation early. She just had Prom last weekend. I was so nervous for her. My baby is all grown up.

And ladies, my better half just had the very same procedure last week (bypass) and is not taking well to the 'suggestion' of a diet. Any helpful hints? you can PM me so we don't jack this thread too badly...
