I have a cd that has a talk on it  from a meeting I attended lately.  I want to record just a small portion of the talk on another cd so I can just listen to that part and not the whole cd.  Is there anyway of doing that?

Rip the cd to your hard disc (pc).
Load the audio file into any audio editing program like Audacity.
Cut the part that you do not need.
save the rest of the file as .wav
Burn to cd.
