The dress did cost a small fortune.  LMAO Prom these days isn't like it was when I was that age.

One of my daughter's friends spent $300 on a dress and right before they left the entire zipper broke. We ended up sewing her in the dress and then when she got home her mom cut her out of it.

Babs you are making this up arent you!!! there is no way you are old enuff to have a daughter that age...certainly she is beautiful, but thats your sister isnt it!!!

Okay, I have some too. Though, they were in a hurry since they were running a bit late (my daughter? running late?....big surprise,  haha) It's hard to get good pics when she's saying "Mom, hurry up, that's enough pictures"...:) And, it started hailing so I couldn't take pics outside. The only spot in my house uncluttered with moving boxes and/or baby toys was the back hall. So, the pics aren't the best. But, this is my little girl. (she'd be SO mad if she heard me say that)  LMAO

I didn't get any of her by herself.

(EDIT.... decided to resize them after all..... I'll bring them back soon)  LOL

Aww Babs you have a beautiful baby !! They do grow up sooo fast ! I just met my youngest daughters boyfriend tonight hes such a cutie !  Its a very nice dress purple is such a cute prom color ! My daughters dress costed all of 35.00 on ebay this year (awesome deal if I do say so myself LOL) BUT last year spent a whoppin 200.00 on her dress...They always get ya somehow LOL ! But they only get to experience these times once so I hope theyre memorable for her.

Charmin, that dress was georgous What a baby face she has too..soo cute !

Gosh... $180 for the dress, $58 for the shoes,  I think the silver wrap she bought was about $20, plus she got a silver purse to match, about $25, necklace and earring set was (thank gosh) on sale at Freddy's for $15, about $20 in gas up to the mall 3 times... I'm glad sometimes I only have ONE daughter.

My son who's 19 took his senior g/f to the same prom. His tux= he owns it, rented vest, tie, & shoes was about $30, corsage for g/f=$17. That was definatley cheaper.  LMAO

just one thing Charm...could the boy look  more disinterested? look at the look on his face when she is kissing him...that pic should have been priceless...such a sweet pose and the look on his face ruins it
