[font=verdana] Personally, I would like to hear a lot more of Eddy Arnold, Jim Reeves, Jim Ed Brown, or the Browns, Don Williams, Charly Pride.  These guys had great voices and sang some beautiful music.  Just an ‘Ole Gal’s” opinion  LOL

I hardly knew a country song 3 years ago, but I am learning. I now do several Charley Pride songs -- Is Anybody Going To San Antone, Kiss An Angel Good Morning, Burgers & Fries, and Mountain of Love.

I actually sang "You Don't Know Me" last night.

Yeah me.

It wasn't karaoke. I was providing the music for a Mother's Day dinner and dance at a Yacht Club and accompanied myself on piano. It sounded more like Ray Charles but I had a request for an Eddie Arnold song and it was the only one I know.

Everyone got up and danced.

One song of Eddies that always rings in my head is "Make the world go away" I could probably sing most of his songs if I tried.
