Hi everybody! I'm just trying to set-up a home system to practice on. I'm using a laptop computer. I'm going to output the audio by usb (behringer) to my mixer then to TV's home theater reciever and use the headphone jack to listen to myself. I can't make a lot of noise where I am and don't want to spend the money on a full blown amplifier and speaker system yet. I have DVD discs with zipped files and folders containing cd+g songs (cd+g and cd+g.mp3 pairs of files). I want to unzip the files and folders to my Seagate usb hardrive( that I bought for this purpose). I would like to separate the zipped files and folders from the unzipped files and folders. Put the cd+g and cd+g.mp3 files in a file folder that I can direct Karafun to. Put the zipped files and folders in another location for a back-up in case something happens to the usb drive and I lose my data. I wanted to know is there is a software program that would automate unzipping files and folders and sending the unzipped data to a separate file? Doing it by hand with 9 dvd's of songs takes quite a while. Then I have to separate the zipped from non-zipped files. I have Power karaoke, but must confess that I don't know how to use it very well. Eventually, I will need to print out a song list. So, I need a song list generator. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :lol: :lol:

just imagine doing 16,000 songs! LOL!

Do them one at a time, and verify they're done right.

YEP, then after awhile this User obtains another 9 DVD's.

Okay, Thanks for the information. I'll just do it manually. I am compiling a list of suggestions from this site for a full blown KJ operation and will add your suggestions to it.

Batch script using PKUNZIP

Converter in Power CD+G Burner should do the trick -- it will convert ZIP to MP3+G and will retain the folder structure.
