A few weeks ago for some reason I had my flat screen TV in the apt and decided to hook it up to rabbits ears. Here I dont get 2, 4 5, 6, 7 with snow 9 the best and the uhf,s with snow. Prob 50-60 miles from transmitter antenna.
I run the auto scan to pick up all the stations and suddenly these funny channels started coming up. What the hell is 2-1? I turned it on and had crystal clear HD channel 2 and all the rest the same. Any digital stuff camcorder, computers close to the rabbit ears will interfere with the signal but other than that it is phenomenal. DTV does not take the bandwidth hence less power and each station can broadcast more than 1 channel.
