Does anyone know of a person or company that can make short, quick, jingles to play at my show? Things like, "Welcome to ___ Karaoke Night", Etc... Any info is appreciated. Thank you. |

Do you mean something specific to your show or something more generic? |

I have to agree with Lonman. Hiring it done could be a large and unrecoverable expense unless you are planning to resell the jingles. |

I purchase a lot of the backings I use for clients from these guys http://www.sounddogs.com/default.asp they are reasonably priced and royalty free. there are also some cool efx there as well. My clients are happy with the quality and the price. |

using the karaoke builder software, you can make the initial splash screens. Using the software, you make a .bin file out of it. Either convert them to a .mp3+g file or keep them as .bin and burn a disc with them. I've gotten pretty good at making them on the fly at a show. Type up the screen with mspaint. Load that .bmp in as a image file for karaoke builder. convert it to .cdg. Use their tool to make that .cdg with a .bin. and since I'm computer based, I converted the .bin to a .mp3+g with mp3toolz. Note: You can merge sound files with the .cdg when you make the .bin but I stopped doing that a long time ago. Was funny a few times when I did a singer's screen with "Jeanie" and I had as the background music "I dream of Jeanie"... but the novelty wore off, and I didn't want to make individual music screens for everyone. Since I began using clubdjpro for my playing software, I can do any screens and any music at the same time with the dual player software. MOSTLY what I use the screens for are singer intros, or club advertisements, birthdays, applause dammit, etc. Since I have my logo on many of the screens, it's truly, uniquely mine! |
