I'm Swirl, and I'm new. I'm in my 30s and have my own entertainment business in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area called Hi-Vox Entertainment. I run karaoke twice weekly, DJ on Friday nights, and do the requisite weddings, corporate functions, private parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, and high school DJ gigs. I love my job. Except for the two cracked ribs I suffered loading gear into my van after a GIGANTIC prom three weeks ago. That's no fun. Quick question: I entered a signature, avatar, location, etc. into my profile, but none of it is showing up. Anyone know why? Oh, and hi, everybody. |

Hmmm, yeah, I entered all the info already, and I can see that it's there, so I guess I just need to hit a certain post plateau before it appears. Thanks for the points, Morgan! How does that work exactly, btw? |

well you can use your points at the forum shop to purchase the right to display an avatar and also to do pretty shading etc to your name, add a signature etc. you get points every time you post in the forums and once you have multiples of 10 points you can bank them and earn interest...till if you are a very prolific poster like me or kappy you can give your points away indiscriminantly like I just did for you hey for all I know I have just given points to an axe murderer...actually I gave points to geminimale (that was a big mistake  ) I may be a long time living that one down.

Thanks for all the info, Morgan. This explains why my avatar and sig are not showing up. Visiting the store as we speak. And I assure you, I am no axe murderer. I prefer to do my killing with my stunning good looks, inimitable charm, and rapier wit.

Welcome aboard ! Sorry to hear about your ribs ! Setting up and tearing down is such a pain. I actually designed my system to be as light as possible because of it. They should come up with a dolly that has hydraulics. |
