Opinions Requested on which karaoke version of this wonderful song, Home by Chris Daughtry is the best? Also, Is the NorthStar Pop version any good?, because i can purchase it on a disc for 3.00$. Thank You.

The only version I have is on Big Hitz 316. It's decent. I don't know if there is a better one or what the Northstar version sounds like. There has bee so much sung off that disc in my room... Big Girls Don't Cry, Rockstar, Beautiful Girls, No One, Rehab, Hey There Delilah, U+Ur Hand, Umbrella... but Home has been done only infrequently. It's kind of a downer as a karaoke song... all in a minor key. At least in my place. Maybe you will have better luck with it. |

It's also on Party Tyme (Sybersound). Try Wal-Mart. |

Sound Choice has a version on disc SC8999. I've performed it myself, and it's pretty decent. Lacks a little power, but it's still good. It's the only version I have or have heard, so I can't comment on others. |

 Thank You folks for your recommendations, I got lucky and was able to purchase the PartyTyme disc at BestBuy, and I'm very happy with their rendition, in fact , I haven't heard a bad PartyTyme disc yet, nice full instrumentations, I'd even go as far to say that they are very close to Soundchoice in quality!

"Home" was sung in my room last night. I'm a little embarrassed because it is done so infrequently that I didn't remember it well. It's not in a minor key like I thought. It was sung well by one of my top males, and went over like contemporary power ballads usually do in my place... not a barn burner but it had a part of the room listening. |

I've had "Home" sung a few times in my bar. I find even the good singers have trouble with it. It must be a hard song to sing well. |
