Was wonder how far KJ go to decorate for contests if at all. As for finals we usually purchased one of those prom looking backgound sets ...run about $600 - $800 ..a little pricey I guess but they seems to like it

Thats alotta dough expended. How much did the incoming revenue increase due to this expense?? Sounds like an unneccesary large expense. Surely the booze buying crowd is not coming for a fancy decoration. Surely something similiar could be created for MUCH LESS COST.

Post up a PIC so we can see it. One place I did fill-ins at we decorated the entire back wall of a large stage as a broadway stage setting using those roles of metal coated stripping and a roll-out backdrop that looked kinda like a braodway musical--then edged the stage with blue and gold metallic glitter skirting and the dj table also. Looked very slick. Did the whole thing for about 100$ in materials.

We had a stage that looked like a apartment window looking out over a city skyline. It was pretty cool - all home made & cost about $75 total.
