So by now y'all know I have some unusual interests in music. I was just listening to Minnie the Moocher and I love the song so much. Soooo, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's available asa Karaoke track? What about Puttin' On The Ritz? What about other cool old songs like these?
Does anyone have songs like these sung where they are? just curious. . .

Have you ever seen karaoke.com? You can search for song names quite easily. There are also other places like kjpro.com where you can look up songs.
I have the Blues Brothers Minnie the Moocher from the Legends disk, and I know I have seen "Puttin' on the Ritz" done (I think the Taco version).

I've sung the Taco version of Puttin' on the Ritz, and I've heard Minnie the Moocher sung before.

As the others stated, they are out there. I have a version of "Putting oin the Ritz" (by Taco) on All Hits, and I have "Minnie the Moocher" on Sound Choice and Zoom.

if you look to the left of this screen you will see song search, it will bring it up with disc numbers and manufacturer I would love to hear you do either or both of these, nothing wrong with your taste at all

By the way - I have "Minnie the Moocher" and I have "Putting on the Ritz". Off the top of my head I believe they are both Soundchoice discs. Both songs are sung at my bar.

I'm still struggling with trying to get rid of a respiratory illness that has messed up my throat and voice. I DJed a small event at my health club a couple of days ago and I usually sing a few songs at the end. I tried to sing and my voice is just not right. I was croaking like a frog. After 4-5 songs that I could barely get through, I stopped. When I'm healthy I can do a 3 hour show. As soon as I'm healthy I will be glad to sub a few now that I know how to use the audacity software and my new external sound card. Thanks Morgan.

awww Stogie I know how that feels, I got a cough on 26 March and it postponed my knee surgery twice and wrecked my voice, I can normally do a 4-5 hour gig solo.
after 80+ days coughing and a change of doctor I had a diagnosis of bronchitis. two more courses of antibiotics and I course of cortisone and I am almost back to normal but its taken 3 months

Glad to hear you're doing well Morgan.
Every day I say "I'm going to the doctor to get some antibiotics tomorrow" but I keep holding out hope that it will just go away naturally and I end up not going. This is the third respiratory illness for me since beginning of February and that has never happened to me before in my entire life. I have been unable to make my promotional CD or go out and try to get any gigs because of it as well. I coughed so hard in May that it made my neck go out of whack. I'm still trying to get my neck and back back into place. Getting older can be challenging at times.

Oh My!! Prolly better I stay right here, I'm not so easy on the eyes. Plus the Lovely Lori would most likely have something to say about it.
