The mixer in my Karaoke system is Vocopro DA-1000pro, it can transmit the audio from other device like as CD player to power amplifier and speakers, but it doesn't accept any sound from the microphone (Shure SM58, it's been tested to be fine), so can it confirm that this mixer has problem? Thanks, Jim |

That would be a guess. Or you just don't have the mic levels turned up or they are muted - not sure if the mixer has mute buttons. |

Thanks for the advice, there is no mute button on my mixer and levels have turned up. Just got a clue from my friend, it might be the mic cable issue, I purchased balanced cable, but this mixer only accepts unbalanced cable, will have a try. |

That is a good possibility as well, however you lose ALL benefits of balanced connections going from balanced to unbalanced connections - but may be the case in that mixer. |
