Hi all, just popping in to say 'allo!

I am relatively new to doing karaoke, but I have been a gigging musician since I was a kid. Decided to let the audience have a go for a change. So far so good, it great fun!

Thanks! No need to say what I normally do then huh.. Been a guitarist all my life, ironically the biggest thing I ever did was touring in a support band with Madness as a drummer. Still, I got to meet my boyhood heroes & drink all their beer.

I've been a KJ now for a few months, spending a damn fortune on discs! Just over 5,000 tracks now and I'm booked out every Friday so I'm off to a good start. I'm becoming a bit of a junkie for karaoke discs now, my ebay feedback is now pretty much a karaoke song book!

Over on the far left of the page, you can also click the "Singers Showcase" button and it will take you there. It's part of this site, where you can upload MP3 recordings. For a free membership, the recordings have to be 3MB or less. You do have to log in again over there. But you can put a little bio of yourself, a picture, and you have a song page people can click on. The front page lists the most recent recordings people have submitted.

It's pretty cool, people can leave you comments and you reply to them- and vise versa. Lots of songs in there by most all of our members. You can even have your song submissions *ranked*, but beware it doesn't alter your self image. (to the good or bad) Maybe I shouldn't have said that, cause it's a nice feature if you wish to have people place a number 1-10 on your song.
