What size laptop do you recommend? and when did it become so hard to post a question or stay logged on here?

Depends on your budget & eyes. For me i'd need the biggest I can get to see better. What's your preference?

10:1 you are using AOL correct? AOL has issues for some reason with some of the bulletin boards, this one happens to be one of them.

When logged into AOL, do not use it's browser, open a new IE browser separately from AOL. This should allow you to post, login easier.

I'm leaning toward the 17". I think it will be easier to use, even if it is a little more bulky than the 15.4".

Lon, you were absolutely correct. AOL doesn't play well with many sites. Maybe it's time to jump the AOL ship. Thanks for the help!

I'm using a 17.1" Dell Vostro. The resolution is a native 1440*900 which affords me a lot of screen space to have Compuhost and my Winamp library both visible.

Sure, it's a bit bigger than your "average" laptop - but if you are carrying a 15" bag, then 2 more inches isn't going to hurt.

I just purchased the Toshiba 17 inch Satellite and it's great..

200 gig hd, 3 gig ram, webcam, DVD burner.. $399 from best buy internet..

(One day price)

After I settle it down, I'll load my karaoke files..
