Hey guys

I always used to sing when I was younger and recently decided to get back into singing for fun. I'm a big computer head and so naturally looked for a software solution that would allow me to sing at home: I've found a few good ones but you still have to buy all the music, and it will take me a long time (not to mention lots of cash) to get a decent catalogue together. Does anyone know of any good karaoke streaming sites - where I can pay a small amount to stream (rather than download) as much karaoke as I like? That would be much better for a casual singer with broad tastes like me than having to buy all the music!

Not sure of any streaming sites. I know Comcast has karaoke on demand channels. May take a look into those?

what about singsnap? you can sing and record yourself there....I think thats where we lost Kappy...he dived into singing and never came up for air

MySpace recently added a karaoke app to the site where you can record yourself and post the results. I'd imagine by running a line out from your computer into a mixer, it'd essentially be the same as streaming. Provided you have a profile there.

I've checked it out and really, it's not too bad. Best part? Completely FREE!
