When you reach my age (in feb I will be 69 OMG) you start thinking about wills and such. I have land that will go to family but what about the system? I have put soc security money and a lot of blood sweat and tears into it.

The thought struck me the other morning It will go out to pasture. It will used only for benefits such as labor day. It will be provided as a free service to old folks homes and vets functions. It will be maintained by donations. It will never charge again for the enjoyment that it brings to so many. That is my wish...

I hope you live to 169 ...but don't worry about when you're gone
Family will take that land and every thing else and sell it to the highest bidder.

best to just have fun now and enjoy life ... getting back on Karaoke

Ollie my darlin you will always be an old soul...no matter what body you return to us in...some of us have trod these paths a number of times...you still have lessons to learn as do I, I am confident we shall meet

I've often thought of that myself. I have three really nice KJ systems and computers and a fine collection of songs. My Wife has no desire to run a karaoke business and could care less about the equipment after I'm gone. I have plenty of Real Estate and toys to leave her and she will not have any problem with finances, so I guess I should be looking for someplace or someone to donate the equipment and music to who will carry on the tradition and make good of my sweat equity. I hope they profit from it and will do the same when they decide to either quit the business or whatever. Not like I'm gonna be able to do something about it if they decide to sell it for cash but I would like to think they would honor me and the spirit in which the gift was given.

Thanks for bringing that up Ollie! I will have to keep an eye peeled for a likely candidate.
