Hello, this is Amanda and i love to sing. Ive been singing since birth - so my mom says - taking lessons since i was 10. Im 15 - yep you got a teenager on your site now - :P

I sing anywhere people will listen to me ... i also play piano - lessons, guitar - self taught and play percussion with my high school concert and jazz bands - our high school concert band won gold in the spring - so we get to go to nationals in the fall!!!!! I also belong to a rock band - we are 5 strong and play classic to alternative rock.

i am trying real hard to break out of the habit of computer talk - so if you catch me - call me on it please!!!!

ive listened to many of the singers in the showcase - WOW - what a talented group. And everyone is super kind!!!!!! i like the education of hearing all different kinds of music - i sing all rock genre, broadway and classical - pretty wierd - i know

i like to hear your honest opinion on my posts - good or bad - as long is it is a constructive critique - i appreciate - i also give staight up comments when asked - i believe everyone has something new they can learn at any age :D

welcome aboard Amanda, who ever your sound tech was needs to learn to tweak the volume...your strong voice was distorting due to the mix being too loud...but aside from that it was a great live performance. If you are going to video for youtube might I suggest you make eye contact with the camera and learn to engage your audience...I am like you and my first reaction would be to look away and pretend I dont see it, but if you are doing this specifically for you tube then you should be learning camera skills...you never know when you might need them in future ;-)

Hi ... thanks for having a look ... appreciate the feedback. Im thinking you looked at Believe In Dreams video??? my mom took that video - lol. I hear you about the eye contact .... I was a little nervous on this one -- it was the first time I played guitar in public and I was too busy trying not to mess up .... lol!!!

Hi Amanda, Welcome aboard! U R gonna have a lot of fun here, it's really a cool place to hang out, showcase your music and learn a lot along the way as well. I see that u r 15 years old, now that is just too cool girl... I started out in the arts (dance) when I was 4 years old and got to experience more than I could ever dream of in life! I'm now retired from dance and recently took Up singing to fill the gap that was missing in my life and it's been a whirlwind ever since! I admire such a young person as yourself doin' what u r doin'... u r certainly On the right tack and never let anything hold you back! :)

Hi Andygurl - thnx for the welcome - this definately looks like a great place to be and to learn from .... ohhh man you danced :mrgreen: ?!?!?!? i cant dance - total dork at dancing - :lol: - and I wanna dance soooo bad - well i do dance bad .... you know what I mean - :lol:
