Let's see - It is a DVD with MP3Gs on it. I can't imagine they converted their CDGs to MP3Gs to put on a DVD. I'm thinking illegal downloads of MP3Gs. I could be wrong, but I don't know any legal site that you can download MP3Gs. Their is no mention of the origin of the songs. That to me is also a red flag. Very clever how they used e-bay to say it is legit on their listing. They should be reported!

I agree...I'd report it and let Ebay sort it out. They do an investigation before any listing is removed. I know because I've reported a few illegal listings myself.

Not only is it a scam but it looks like they were recorded at unacceptably low quality.

4500 songs should be larger than 25gb.

Tricerasoft & SelectATrack are 2 that I know of & supposedly karaokedownloads.com is as well, at least it is a sponsored link of Google (don't mean anything though).

I wouldn't take a chance with it, never seen a karaoke / hydroponics outlet before.

I now have around 6000 songs in my disc collection. So far it has cost me around £1000 (just under $2000 at today's rate). This a guy is selling 4500 songs for $99?

There's more chance of Elvis Presley auditioning for American Idol than those things being legit.

1. He/She has been on ebay since 4/1/02, quite a long time if you are scamming people.
2. He/She has a score of 10,749 with a rating of 98.4%, that’s a pretty good score for that many transactions.
3. He/She probably knows a lot about plants by what I see in the feedback section, but may know nothing about the legality of music or karaoke. Most of the text on his ad refers to plant sales not music.

Like the rest of you I would seriously doubt the legality and the quality, but I think it’s probably more from lack of knowledge than trying to scam people. Or it may just be a way to draw music people to his plant site, you never know. I put it on my watch list just to see what it goes for, I have most of the songs he has listed already. [/font]

The Ebay seller specifically states "Up for auction is my collection of CDG karaoke Songs". That kind of says it all right there. The seller just placed her personal collection of MP3+G's on to DVD's. Judging by the number of discs involved it sounds like the songs are at 128K if an average file size is say 3.5Megs.

I went to to the posted link and found that it is no longer a valid item
Seems like the seller removed the item. I think that he may have gotten
the hint from somewhere it was illegal.
