Hi everyone. I’m Brian from Upper Hutt, New Zealand and karaoke is a hobby that I really enjoy. Although I’ve got a good PA system set up in my internal access garage/basement, and have built up a collection of CD+Gs over the past 10 years, sadly I’ve not put the gear to maximum use. The main reason is I live in suburbia and I need to determine how to cost effectively minimise the sound escaping the garage so as not to annoy the neighbours. Hopefully I’ll find some solutions in these forums. Cheers! |

Hi Brian, I see you have re-asked your question in the tech forum. You should get some ideas there about sound proofing. You can also use search in the member area over to left, sometimes you can find what your looking for there. Good Luck... |

garage karaoke I love it ! You can try adding things to your garage to eat up the sound. You can buy sound panels or hang sheets, curtains etc.. around the walls. |

Welcome. My suggestion it to get a few big dogs and keep them outside. Then your neighbors will be so annoyed with your dogs barking all the time, they won't notice how bad the singing is at times. |
