I consider myself a person who can sing somewhat decently on a good day, but I'm not a singer in the serious, technical or professional sense of the word. Every so often I attempt to record my vocal for a possible SS sub but it gets frustrating trying to get a vocal down that is mistake free (or at least fairly close to it) from beginning to end. It's tough having to redo an entire song because of one or two errors and hope it'll come out just right, but it's also a pain to edit and punch-in at just the right spot and still maintain a sound of continuity. So my question is, how do you SS subers handle your own screw ups when it comes to recording your own vocals? Just do it all over again from the top or fix it with an edit or in the mix? Or are there other options I'm not considering. I don't know how you frequent SS subers do it! My hats off to you!
