The first time I sang in public was in 1948 in a two room school house in northern Colorado. The two songs were Cool Water and Tennessee Waltz. Since then I have guest sang with many bands. Aboard the USS Little Rock with the little rockers I sang Dayo to the prime minister of Greece.

As an MC I have hosted events and sang to crowds in excess of 5000. Sometimes my ego does get in the way but I am an entertainer and proud of the way I can energize any show. Many KJ'S have welcomed me to their shows and call me when they have a new gig.

I just wish they had karaoke when I was a teen. I wouldnt be so screwed up and probably would have lived a more normal life. Right now karaoke is my life and keeps me going. For when I am singing the old body is not aching, the world is right again, it puts me back to a different time and place.
