Hi everybody, i use 2 different laptops. 1 i use for dj amd the other for karaoke. The 1 i use for dj is perfect flawless sound, the 1 i use for karaoke has alot of noise coming through. I have purchased the Behringer rca/ usb connectors (i'm sorry i cant remember the name of the top of my head, they have been discussed here before) but it has not helped. I use Compuhost, and all my disk are legitimate NOT pirated copies. If anyone has encountered this problem and beat it, please help i have a show coming up very soon, and this noise is unacceptable. P.S. the noise is always present as long as it is connected to the mixer and speakers.

Have you tried disconnecting the television and seeing if the noise stops?

Have you tried disconnecting the AC (and using battery) and seeing if it stops?

Also, make sure the tv and laptop are plugged into different outlets, preferably different circuits. Turn volume all the way down on the tv and as mentioned before check out the grounding loop isolator.

As mckyj57 stated too, by unpluggin different pieces of the equation you may be able to isolate the cause. I was getting some wicked interference with my external HD to close to my system, so move things around a bit as well.
