If you are dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be?

I'm excited this year for Halloween. My Halloween gig gets bigger every year with more people dressing up. We usually give away $100 1st prize, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for third.

I am going to be a pirate. I didn't want to do anything hoochie. It seems to be the trend for woman costumes. I went with something I can move around in easily all night working on stage and all. I didn't want to have to worry about something falling out if I bent over. LMAO

Cinderella!
I've gone all out with the dress, hoop crinoline, gloves, blue cape, wig and even the glass slippers!
I wanted to impress my 5 year old and I'm sure the other little kids I will see will love it.
I can't wait!

lol I think I will go as a West Texas Cowboy in a black cowboy hat, boots, and my wrangler jeans! lol I never change the way I am! When we have dress up days here at the school where I teach, the kids always ask me what I am going to dress up as, and I always tell them I am dressing up as me! lol Guess I get stuck in a rut but I am definitely comfortable in who I am! lol I must admit though, the idea of a pretty lady in a skimpy costume will almost make this cowboy get out of Texas for a couple of days! lol The priates costume I am sure will be a fun costume for you to wear! --Mike

you know I was walking thru Walmart the other day and they had this center aisle display with "Explore your Fantasy" and had all these hoochie mama type of pictures on it.

Then I looked closer and saw the fake eyelashes, makeup, wigs... and the Halloween angle...

but I wasn't thinking HALLOWEEN by ANY means!

D'OH!!!

One year while doing a kids' show, I put on all my motorcycle gear (including chaps and boots and goggles). I did, however, add a long blonde wig and wore a doo rag over that. The kids got concerned when it was show time and the host hadn't shown up. Then they all began wondering who was up front 'messing around with the karaoke gear.' They were all relieved to discover it was me. Still have all that gear and will probably just use that again at very small town Fri night show. Men LOVE a leather-clad blonde. LOL.

Im part of a halloween cabaret troupe this year, so dressing will be a given but its prolly what I wear every year...black crushed velvet dress and my cape...I will however wear a mask this year as I have had to prerecord most of the parts I have done for the cabaret as I am also doing sound. So by prerecording I can have my bits segueing and I can be standing on stage in mask and with mic in hand looking like I am talking (I am the narrator) rather than being worried if my mic is turned up enough to cope with talking behind a mask. Plus my mobility is still a huge issue...I went to jump to the left in the time warp on monday and my leg below my left knee jumped to the right and kinda parted company with the rest of me :(...please make a mental note folks that when I do get to the US to meet you all that you dont ask me to do the time warp :?

LOL! This is actually the first year in a looong time that I'm NOT going to be a pirate. It was politely suggested that I try and dress up as something else for a change. Oh well, I guess I can be a pirate the other 364 days out of the year.

This year I'm all about the "Pimp" costume. Platform shoes, cane with huge diamond handle, gold teeth, clock chain, blinged out challace....the WORKS!

We decided to have a karaoke party both Friday AND Saturday this year. It should be fun.

Bit annoyed this year...

My regular place wasn't sure if they wanted a party or not, so they left it too late to book me. Now I hear they are having a huge party, and the owner is just gonna DJ ad-hoc.

I am booked for a football club that is having a presentation evening. Straight DJing, no karaoke, no haloween gimmicks.
