Has anyone received the Chart Hits Disk in MP3+G format? I wanted to know what the audio compresion rate was 128,192,256,320 etc. I couldn't find the info listed anywhere.

Load the song into a Media Player i.e. Windows Media Player.
Enable the Quality Column and the Bitrate will be displayed.

load it into winamp. it shows the bitrate without having to do anything extra vexept make surethe skin is winamp classic or bento if you have the newest winamp. An educated guess is it isn't smaller than 128.

if you have it in your PC, windows explorer will tell you. Just mouse over the file, and it will pull up a comment box that tells you the file name, and the attributes of it

I haven't bought one yet. I was hoping someone else had and could let me know before I took the plunge. Hopefully, I would expect it to be at least 192kbs. There are a few oddities in the algorythem that allow for good sound quality a lower rates but these a little more expensive hardware codecs.
