Thank you all for responding to my (Initial Set UP) question so quickly. I appreciate that. I guess I can't explain myself that well on computer stuff, but I understand that my F drive is where I'm about to put all of it. What I have is a hard drive I attached to my laptop and in order to take my purchased cd+g's and put them on to the F Drive I have to get compuhost set up on my computer. I installed it and it all went well with the whole set up until it started asking me questions like / Recording Devices / A window popped up just asking me some questions about the types of formats / like wave / mp3 / vox or something like that....... Now that I've pulled the program back up this morning ...it isn't popping that window up. So for right now that isn't a problem. Until later, then it might haunt me. Right now I went into the CD+G Rip program that comes with the compu host and it wants to know Step 2 Disc ID / Auto name files optional. ///////// Here is where I need help .... I have a cd+g in my disc drive and want to add it to my F drive and store it there. How shall it be stored....by name or Number. What I've tried so far without the cd rip program it has been storing them by some number that looks like 100899977 < example.... I'd rather it be stored by name and into the compu host program so I can pull things up by name or artist. I'm sorry I sound so confused...but I am and I need your help desperately. Terri |

You either need to type the info into the boxes next to the track number or need Fast Tracks to name it. My suggestion is to spend the money on Fast Tracks and it should make naming your files easier. Fast tracks is the songlist maker that is made by the makers of Compuhost. It will also make making your books easier. |

Thank you Danny, I did type them into the boxes..... I went to pull up Compuhost to move the cd+G tracks into the program from the F drive, by importing them ...and they are not there. I guess now the question would be How do I get them from the F drive over to compuhost. Terri |

Drop down the second drop down button at the top of the program. click import mp3+g tracks and follow the instructions. Your best bet is to read the help section or manual to find out how to use Compuhost. |
