Once again it's was that time of the year for me to pull out Jeff Wayne's musical version of the War of the Worlds. I turn off all of the lights and sit down with a glass of wine and wait to be enveloped in Richard burton's majestic voice and Jeff Wayne's musical masterpiece. Forever Autumn sung by Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues is available on karaoke by SC, anyone here do it?
It may not be everyones cup of tea, but I love it. Early form of progressive rock which is a music genre I definitely leans towards. I know it was huge in the UK, not quite as much here in the US. It came out in 1978.......wow, 30 years ago. Major use of wa wa pedals on guitars, but most of it is still pretty fresh sounding. Anyone else ever heard it? Rudy.
