Guitar center had it for $699. Found it listed at Amazon for $599, Guitar Center matched the price and gave 10% off the difference, made it $589. Then I used a 10% OFF coupon I recieved in the mail from Guitar center, made it $531. QSC currently is offering a $100 mail in Rebate, that makes it......$431.00

Of course I couldn't beat the sales Tax

I will use the Amp to power a pair of Yamaha S115 speakers I purchased a couple of weeks ago.

The bar where I am at 2 nights a week has provided me with secure storage space, so I am puting together a second system to keep at the bar.

I will use my Yamaha EMX 512 and BR15's in a Mobile set-up.

My next purchase will be the new Mackie PRO FX12 Mixer, then maybe a Sub, another Amp, and an external crossover

Just so you know the RMX1450 is pretty low power (in stereo mode) for the 115 needs. They need about 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the 1450 pushes 280 watts per channel into 8 ohms. If you ran the speakers in bridged mode in a parallel configuration, the amp would be more than doable as it would change the speakers to 4 ohms, changing their program power requirement to 1000 watts at 4 ohms. The 1450 bridged pushes 1400 watts at 4 ohms.
Nice solid amp and you got it for a great price, I run one bridged to my sub.

uuum...Lonman, the OP says 2450. An rmx 2450 is plenty to push those speakers. in fact it would over power them (a good thing)

I wish i had known about the amazon price when i bought mine last spring. they did knock $100 off the rack case i bought that day so i was pretty happy. I also got 15 months zero interest on it, so ill wright a check for it next spring after owning it free for a year. 6 year warranty was really hard to beat too.

If you looked he edited the post. It had stated the 1450 but realized he meant 2450 before I had made my post.
It wouldn't over power the speakers at all since the S115 needs 500 watts program. The 2450 pushes 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Perfect match up.

They are nice but sure are heavy!

For a mobile setup I would suggest a PLX 2502. It will save your back!

i looked at those..by back is strong (im a heavy truck mechanic im used to heavy)(ive also got a dolly), but those things would shatter my wallet. sweet amp tho

The Amp is real heavy (almost 45 pounds). The weight would have been a problem issue for me if I wasn't able to store it at my current venue.

For the last few weeks I have been running my new S115V's with my EMX512SC. I could instantly tell the sound was better than my BR15 speakers with the same amp. Don't get me wrong; EMX512SC + BR15'S is a great sounding set-up and will make an awsome mobile rig for me.

Tomorrow night I will get to use my new Amp for the first time

The cost discounts I was able to get made it easier on my wallet Although it will be a while before I can afford to get the Mackie PROFX12 mixer I want Until then I will use my EMX512SC as "just" a mixer.
