Hi everyone My name is Mick. I'm from West Yorkshire in the UK. I've presented Karaoke for the last 12 years or so at the pub that I used to also own ! So I've seen the business from both sides of the bar as it were. I don't have the pub any more but am still presenting Karaoke at another one. I happened onto this excellent site last week while surfing and I must say that already I've picked up some very helpful tips, website refs etc. But the most striking thing I noticed when reading thru the forum threads is how the problems and sometimes solutions are exactly the same as my experiences - from the KJ's all over the world. Sounds obvious I know but it's good to be in the same club. I sing all types of songs (nothing is safe from me !) but you may guess from my "nick" that I'm a great fan of Mr Mercury. Anyway thats all for now. Hope to hear from some of you soon. |
