Oh, I think I could show you some remote areas in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Wisconsin has some real remote areas too in the southwest corner where my family is from. There are some real unique little bergs back in those hollers. |

Katy Human, Denver Post Staff Writer, must be sleeping with the editor of something if she gets paid to do her crack research on hot topics like that. I guess it was just a slow news day in South Park. |

May I introduce you to the remotest part of Canada, Canadian Forces Station Alert (pop 5 permanent residents) in Nunavit. About 840km from the North Pole and about 2,092km from the very small city of Iqauit (pop 6,184). Definitely not a long wait for your turn to sing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alert,_Nunavut |

Yea that article surprised me too. I have been in remote regions all over although I would like to 4 wheel over the passes down there in the summer. Tim whwn I got out of the military I did everything I could to go up and maintain radars on rhe DEW line. About that time RCA sold out their contract to somebody else and it screwed up my processing in. |
