Its a good buy jam but the monitor does not the standard mounting holes. You could use JB Weld (clean surfaces good) and it would be permanently glued to it.

Sounds like a good buy but I did notice 2 things

1.) It's pretty bad when the stand costs more than the monitor
2.) It has VGA imput so if you are going to use it with s video output from a laptop you will need a converter, unless of course you are not using multiple screens.

Still sound like a good buy

Also it only has a VGA input, do you have a converter or something? If you are using a standard tv, it either has cable or RCA for video correct?

My current set up is S-video from laptop to a RCA using an adapter.

Should I look for a monitor that takes Svideo ?

Do you have a vga out? if so you can go straight from that. I have been able to extend desktop via a vga out on a laptop before and that was because the laptops s-video was broken.

Do you plug into any of the house tv's? Can you use both the S-Video & VGA at the same time? I seem to recall someone asking about that & someone said it can't be done.
