I have a cavs player that will play sdvd's and i have some sdvd disk. My thing to do is to rip the sdvd to my computer for a back up. There are 1234 songs on these disk and i wanna back them up before the disk get's dammaged or ripped off the bar we do our gig at. There are many way's to create a sdvd, but none that i know to rip one. And just in case i'd like to know if it can be copyed to another disk, ie Roxio or nero. But only one of my dvd drives will reconize cd+g. C-ya Scott

Any computer with a Duel Layer DVD will Copy a Super CD+G Disc with Roxio. A Disc Duplication.
You can play Super CD+G's on any computer with a Duel Layer DVD. Just let the autorun go when the disc is put in your computer. The discs come with their own player program.

I do my shows with copies of all my disc, including the Super CD+G's. Took me cracking one disc, and scratching another, to learn to keep my originals at home, and only copy them, never play them.

As far as ripping a Super CD+G. Super CD+G is proprietary to CAVS. Only CAVS can read these disc, except for computers. CAVS sells a software for like $30 on their website. http://www.supercdg.com This is the only program that I know of that will rip a Super CD+G.
