Hey everyone, where can I get a set of speaker stands at the best cost that will hold my BEHRINGER B215A speakers 6 foot of the ground?

That's one you can answer yourself with the aid of Google.

I like the crank-up stands I got at Sam Ash for $80.00 the pair.

Hey guys, do I need to run the floor monitors at the same sound level as the speakers? Common sense tells me I should be able to have them set lower.?

I got my crank-up stands at GC but don't remember what I paid. Had to get them because I was using Bag Ends and putting them above the crowd. The crank-ups have a weight limit but I think you're fine with those speakers.

So Sorry Ripman8! GC: Guitar Center. MF: Musicians Friend. Both very good sources for pro audio.

I just bought an Olympus LS10 field recorder from GC and found they had marked it down to $399 from $499 - smart of them because almost everybody else carries them for $399 at regular price. I used it tonight - very cool. Don't have Cubase figured out but the sound is definitely amazing, and I have three different editing softwares available - will figure out which one is easiest to use and most effective.

Anybody know anything about Pro Power? I'm looking at crank up speaker stands and they have the best price at 141 per pair including shipping.

There are more speaker stands than you can shake a stick at on ebay.
As was mentioned, Guitar Center, Musician's Friend, Sam Ash are all good companies. Also check out zzounds, samedaymusic, NorthenlightFX.

It's possible he got them on a clearance. I have never seen a pair of crank ups for under $100.
I bought a pair of $200 stands for $30 through American Musical scratch & dent. Sometimes can get some great deals if you are willing to have a little blemish.

Yes, I think I got some sort of a special deal. They work great for me -- have been through dozens of gigs without trouble.
