After listen with the receiver for a little bit, the speakers make a clicking noise and then have like a tenth of the volume. There's no base just voices and that annoying noise when you hear those s's. I was thinking it might be overheating or it could be the fuse(3A250V), maybe i could replace with same or better fuse? The product is very old and have never done anything to it. If anyone could help i would be very thankful.

brand new speakers, everything works for about 5 minutes then the receiver does something and all i hear is squealing noises coming from my speakers.

Sounds like your VocoPro thing has bit the dust. No one here will be surprised -- the only VocoPro thing I own died within a year of me buying it.

alright do you really think it died cause i really love it. it works everytime i take the fuse out and put it back in. but only stay on for like 5 minutes max. that's why i thought it was probably overheating problems or need a new fuse since it's very old. i was thinking about getting a fuse with more amp and voltage but i dont know if it will damage it. it's a 3A250V fuse right now.

You can rule out the fuse as the unit powers up. Fuses don't come and go. Probably what is happening is, whatever is breaking down, cools off enough while you are playing with the fuse. It sounds to me like something in the circuit, possibly a transistor or a capacitor, is breaking down after it warms up. It's not uncommon at all for Capacitors to break down with age, especially if they have set idle for long periods of time. If the unit is worth anything it may warrant a bench charge at a local electronics repair facility. That's my 25 cent guess for the day.

Those symptoms indicate a very low power supply voltage and the only audio getting through are the highs (very low) passed by open stage capacitance.

The power supply is shutting down due a thermal runaway short in either channel (a short shuts down the power supply) or a power supply regulator problem. These types of problems can be analyzed by spraying suspected components with freeze mist.

We no longer do shop work because it is cheaper to throw it away and buy new. If you would want to pay shipping I would shop it out and refurbish for $125 plus parts and dont cherish it because the schematic would not be available. In the case of JBL Mackie and a few others this would be no problem. The only other option is finding an old tech like me and buying a bunch of BUD.
