Post subject:  recommended software do compilations from CD+G to dvd?

I have a bunch of CD+G discs and I get tired of swapping them in and out. What really easy to use software would I need to compile my favorite songs to dvds? I have a very low frustration tolerance these days...

I have an external USB 2.0 Lite On multi format recorder that can read CD+G and write CD+G and dvds.

The dvds I create will be played in a multi-format component karaoke player.

thanks for any help you can offer. :D

Try Karaoke DVD Burner.

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the demo version and tried burning both DVD+R and DVD-R and neither one would play reliably. The video sputters and jumps and the sound goes in and out.

I ordered some supposedly super reliable dvd+R disks. I'll see if they work any better.

You may try using lower burn speed and switching to full resolution in Settings.

I tried everything. Supposedly the best dvd media around, various read speeds, the slowest burn speed I could and both resolution settings.

The songs still jump, audio cuts in and out and they spontaneously restart.

The program would be awesome if it worked. The menus, 60 songs to a disk, etc is what disk based karaoke should be.

Oh well...

sounds like it's your own computer's video card!

What type of Operating System are you using, Video, PC Speed (mhz)... have you tried taking that dvd rip to your dvd player at home?

thanks for the reply.

the dvds work in my computer but not in either of my DVD+R capable karaoke machines or in my dvd player. I want to use them in my karaoke player so I don't have to swap all those disks in and out.

WIN XP, 4 GHz P4

I'm done fooling with it. I wasted too much time on it already. This is the type of thing that makes me despise computers. They never work the way they're suposed to and I'm tired of fiddling with them.

Here is a link to a software that will convert cdg to vcd which you can then burn using nero or any burning program to dvd disc.

http://www.cdg2vcd.com/download.php

give it a try and see if it works for you.

TominNJ,

Sorry your having problems with the software.
If it doesn't play in your regular DVD player...
I guaranteed you it's not the software.

I had a CODEC problem in the beginning. Since then, I've burned Dozens of DVD'S using Power DVD Burner. They All Play in Regular DVD Player.

That is the reason why I recomend an alternative program. If that does work too, then as sw0000p said....Codec

Try audiograbber. It'll rip the cdgs into mp3+g files that could be burned on a DVD as long as your player will read mp3+g files. The program is easy to use and free.
