Exactly how long have you worked for QSC Mr. JD??? Why do you feel the need to constantly shrill for this company??? If you don't work for them, what exactly do you think is in it for you to keep plugging them??? |

What is so wrong with someone giving all of us one more option for information? No one is being forced to buy anything from anyone. I clicked on the link and managed to not buy anything and I don't feel like I've been mislead. There very well could have been some information on that site that would be very helpful for some of the people on this forum. I think the word you were looking for was shill, not shrill. |

You missed the whole point of the posting. It was to be used as a reference for matching speakers to amp specs period. Not for choosing any amp in particular. If you've managed to read some of my more important postings you'll notice what what I'm really plugging. (Hint: it's not QSC) |

Thank you Bruce, Just beacuse someone sees something in a product that he/she finds particularly interesting and worth investigating doesn't mean that he/she is on the payroll. I have been accused of being "Bob" (Latshaw) on numerous ocassions because of my like of all of Latshaws progs. Come on people relax.....this is suppose to be about having fun and maybe even making some money if so inclined. My love of Latshaw products is still very strong and I have to strongly disagree with Swooops take on Latshaw's greedyness in another post. My experience with Latshaw has been very positive, just as it has been with CDGFix. It seems as though there are several ground breakers in the karaoke industry and that deserves incouragement and praise, not bad press and flaming. Aren't we we all here because beacuse we want karaoke to be as good as it can be? Mrmarog |

Mrmarog It is one thing to love a product and promote that product when it is appropriate, I too like Latshaw products and mention them when appropriate, but you obviously have missed the point that in most of JD's posts QSC is either brought up or linked too. Go back and check the threads he has posted in, count the number of times "QSC" is mentioned or linked to and wether or not it applied to that thread at all (you will have to read the entire thread, not just his post, to determine if his shilling of QSC was appropriate or not) and maybe you will understand. Anyway, it is not worth getting in a debate about, just say BAD RLC, and I will just choose to ignore his shilling of QSC from here on. |

Posting of links will be permitted in the forums, as long as they meet these standards: 1) Links are a direct, relevant answer to a question. 2) Links are to pertinent information. 3) A link is not to advertise (or appear to advertise) anything. 1) There was no question, so there can be no relevant answer 2) What information is pertinent in this link other than for QSC? 3) Seems to be all about QSC to me! JD, will you please stop spamming for QSC? It's getting tiresome! |

I think any audio forum is pertinent and always plugging a particular brand is completely false. I mention other brands but again it is only my opinion like the majority of responses here anyhow. It shows who can think objectively and who can't. If I went on plugging Renkus-Heinz because they are far superior above all then I'd get the same flak as well. I don't sell anything here and I don't make a penny doing it either. I'm just getting an idea of how neolithic karaoke types are about sound when there's new technology and ideas to be had. So I can't be crucified for having a common goal that most karaoke enthusiasts and forums have in the first place. |

If you have a better way then please show me the way. Otherwise your post is unproductive in matching specs that I'm looking for. |

This reminds me of a fellow karaoke enthusiast who kneejerks everytime you say "Jesus" in a song. You have to look past the brand and compare the features, factual performance specifications and value like any other product. So what if you disagree. I personally would have another brand but it's too expensive. |

I don't understand the title to this thread, could you explain JD? Why don't most audio manufacturers want us to know about the QSC forum? Can you be specific and as clear and possible? Thanks |
