Hi Guys,
I'm considering setting up a Karaoke system - i'm already an established DJ (30 years!!) -

Can anyone advise the BEST karaoke software - there seems to be a lot out there.

Thanks.

I use autokdj.
It works in conjunction with winamp and the best part is, it's free.
If you can afford it, I hear good things about Compuhost.

This has been discussed on here in the recent history. Do a search on here, just scan through the threads...

What would work well for me may not work well for YOU, or for any other host. It all depends on what you're looking for.

* What do you want it to do?
* What is your budget?
* What do you plan on playing it on? Newer PC or older? Do you feel comfortable with a laptop or computer and can fix them if they go bonkers?
* Do you want all the bells and whistles, or are you looking for a simple player?
* Do you need reports to be ran FROM the software for tracking purposes, or not?

Seems there's no end to the beginning of looking at your options.

Compuhost is the best in my opinion. I own all the top contenders, and it is what I use.

There is no 'best' just what will work for your needs. Try the demos out & decide what you really need in the software!

While I use COmpuHost and have no intention of changing software, But I agree with Lonman and Knightshow. What works for me might not work for you. get every demo you can and try them out to see what fits your needs.
