ok I have come to the conclusion that computer karaoke is over my head I am looking at the RSQ csu 222 it is suposed to be an upgraded version of the old workhorse mv222 ( I think that was the model # ) anyway does anyone have any opinions on this player or do you know of a differant payer that is good ?

The RSQ/JVC labels are pretty much the best for multi=drawer players right now. The thing is, newer models made in China may not match the standards of the older versions . You just have to be careful, not only of the specs, but their validity.

Bottom line: It's probably a very good player.

Side note: Stay away from RSQ mics. They sound like you're singing into a baseball mitt..
