Pretty easy really.. Take the video you choose, open it on MS Movie Maker, and when you edit/save it, select a size around 2 meg.. Then, sign up with Youtube, and upload it.. I'm jdmeister2008 at youtube. (In the search box) |

Viki I capture video with Ulead Studio9. I like to create a video file to mpeg3 which is(720X480, 29.97 fps) these can be uploaded to youtube and they compress it. To upload direct you need to compress first. BTW one time I was upstreaming live to Viki and all she saw was water pouring down on the outside of my window from a violent rainstorm. |

With experience in field and studio editing Movie Maker and Ulead drives me nuts. It is typical software that is written by folks that have never shot video or had to edit on the fly (field) or in a studio environment. Something like microsoft although their movie maker isnt that bad. It is a field which requires a lot of experience to get good results and what I dont like is the compression necessary to upload to the web and deteriation of video quality. Presently I use a Canon ZR 950. It is not commerciail but it isnt cheap either. |
