A broad general question without details engenders several guesses.

It's like I turn the key on and try to start and nothing happens. Whats' wrong? Make model and a general history would be helpful. It is hard to TS on a forum and with years of tech support on the phone (both ends) I would much rather do it that way.

I would ask the moderators on this forum to have a read this first in a pasty before posting in the tech forum. It would require details needed to give a good analysis. This is common practice on tech forums. It saves arguing and thread hijacking.

Also some forums include a header problem solved in the title.

How about a "Frequently Asked Questions" sticky...

Then we can easily refer them to specific STUCK threads, instead of some that get archived or worse yet, deleted completely.

I have asked for this a couple years ago.
Even breaking the tech section into sub topics
ie
Mixers
Speakers
Mics
Amps
etc...
